Navigating Healthcare Inequity
February 18th, 2025
This panel brought together two cancer patients from diverse backgrounds, each sharing their personal experiences with healthcare disparities. Our discussion highlighted the challenges in accessing quality care, including financial barriers and systemic biases as social determinants of health. The panel aimed to raise awareness, inspire action for more equitable healthcare policies, and foster a more compassionate understanding of the patient experience in cancer care.
