Join us for the 5th Annual Cancer Active Attitude & Effort Golf Tournament for an afternoon of golf, community, and purpose at Black Mountain Golf Course.
The Attitude & Effort Tournament brings golfers, businesses, friends, and supporters together while supporting Cancer Active’s mission to help people living with cancer live longer and live better.
WHAT IS CANCER ACTIVE?
Cancer Active is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people living with cancer improve their quality of life through physical activity, nutrition, mental wellness, education, and supportive community.
We help patients, caregivers, and survivors live healthier, more active lives during treatment and beyond.
WHAT DOES THIS TOURNAMENT SUPPORT?
Proceeds from the Attitude & Effort Golf Tournament support Cancer Active’s patient programs and resources, including educational programs, support groups, wellness initiatives, and the continued development of the Cancer Active Patient Portal (CAPP).
WHY “ATTITUDE & EFFORT”?
While cancer may be beyond our control, our attitude and effort are not.
The Attitude & Effort Tournament celebrates resilience, community, and the determination to help people living with cancer keep moving forward.
“Attitude & Effort” is a phrase expressed by Kirk Wilkerson, for whom this tournament was originally created.
